Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Lupo Creative ("we," "us," "our") handles personal information through the StageQueue website at www.stagequeue.app (the "Website") and the StageQueue show-management service (the "Service"). A Customer is the person or organization that runs shows on StageQueue, such as a host, venue or producer. Words like Customer, Staff and Participant mean what they mean in our Terms of Use.

1. The short version

  • We collect only what's needed to run shows: mostly names, email addresses and song choices.
  • If you sign up for or watch a show, the Customer running it decides how your information is used. We store and process it for them.
  • We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for targeted advertising.
  • We don't use passwords. Sign-in is by one-time email links.
  • You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at privacy@stagequeue.app.

2. What we collect

Website visitors

  • Waitlist: your email address, if you join our waitlist.
  • Usage information: pages visited, referring site, approximate location (country or region), browser and device type, collected through Google Tag Manager and analytics cookies (see section 6).

Customers and Staff

  • Account details: name, email address, role, and your organization's name, logo and web address.
  • Show and account content: shows, songbooks, settings, reminders and anything else you enter.
  • Billing details (when paid plans are available): plan, billing history, and the billing name and address you give Stripe. Stripe holds your card details; we see only the card type, last four digits and expiry date.
  • Sign-in and activity records: when you sign in, and an activity log of important account actions.
  • Notification settings: if you turn on push notifications, a subscription address your browser gives us for sending them.
  • Messages to us: what you send when you contact us for help.

Performers

  • Sign-up details: your name, email address (if the show asks for it), song choice, notes to the Customer, and when you signed up.
  • Sheet music: any file you upload for the accompanist.
  • Show records: your place in the running order and whether you performed.
  • Edit link: a private link, sent by email and kept in your browser, that lets you change your song.

Audience members

  • Messages: what you send to the Customer through a show's page, with your name if you give it.
  • We count how many people are viewing a show, but these counts are not linked to anyone.

Venue displays

  • A device identifier stored on a paired TV or screen, so it stays connected to the right show.

Collected automatically from everyone

  • Your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages and features you use. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes this to deliver and protect the Service. To prevent spam sign-ups, we store a one-way, scrambled version of your IP address for a short time, never the address itself.

3. How we use it

  • To provide the Service: run sign-ups, running orders, live pages and venue displays, and deliver sheet music and messages to Customers.
  • To sign you in and send the emails the Service needs, such as sign-in links, edit links, sign-up confirmations and show reminders.
  • To take payments and manage subscriptions.
  • To keep the Service secure: prevent spam and abuse, investigate problems, and keep activity logs.
  • To support you when you ask for help.
  • To understand how the Website and Service are used and improve them.
  • To send news about StageQueue to waitlist subscribers and Customers, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
  • To meet legal obligations, such as tax records.

4. Who we share it with

  • The Customer running a show. Everything a performer or audience member submits goes to the Customer running that show and its Staff. Customers use it under their own privacy practices.
  • The public, where the Customer chooses. A show's running order may appear on its public pages and on screens in the venue, including performers' names and songs.
  • Our service providers, who process information for us under contract and only on our instructions:

  • Legal reasons. When we must by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or us.
  • Business changes. To a successor if StageQueue is transferred, including to a company we form to run it. This policy will keep applying to your information.

We don't sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Up to 2 years

The Service's own cookies are needed for it to work. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings without affecting the Service. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your information.

7. How we protect it

  • Every connection is encrypted, and each Customer's show data is kept in its own separate database.
  • We use one-time email links instead of passwords, and store sign-in and edit links only in scrambled form.
  • Access to personal information is limited to the people who need it. Support access to a Customer's account is recorded in that account's activity log.
  • We don't use real personal information for testing. Where we test against copies of live data, names and emails are replaced first.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

8. Your choices and rights

  • See, correct or delete your information, or get a copy of it. Customers and Staff can change most account details themselves. Performers can change a sign-up with their edit link.
  • Show data: performers and audience members should contact the Customer running the show first. If you contact us, we'll pass your request to them and help them respond.
  • Emails: every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Service emails, such as sign-in links, can't be turned off while you use the Service.
  • US state privacy rights: depending on where you live, you may have the right to know, correct, delete and get a copy of your information, and to opt out of its sale or use for targeted advertising (we do neither). We won't treat you differently for using these rights.

Send requests to privacy@stagequeue.app. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we respond within 30 days. If we turn down a request, you can ask us to reconsider by replying to our answer.

9. If you're in the UK or European Economic Area

We process your information on these legal bases: to perform our contract with you (providing the Service and taking payments); our legitimate interests (security, spam prevention, improving the Service, and telling Customers about StageQueue), balanced against your rights; your consent (analytics cookies and marketing emails where consent is required), which you can withdraw at any time; and legal obligations (tax records).

You also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to restrict processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

We are based in the United States, and your information is processed there. Where the law requires, our service providers protect transfers with approved safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. Performers aged 13 to 17 need a parent's or guardian's permission to sign up. If you think a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top and tell Customers by email or in the Service before the change takes effect.
