Terms of Use
Last updated: October 15, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Lupo Creative ("Lupo Creative," "StageQueue," "we," "us," or "our"). They cover the website at www.stagequeue.app (the "Website") and the StageQueue show-management service, including sign-up pages, Backstage, TV displays, admin screens, emails and notifications (together, the "Service"). By using the Website or the Service, or by clicking to accept these Terms, you agree to them. If you are accepting for an organization, you confirm you can bind it, and "you" includes that organization.
1. Who's who
- Customer: the person or organization that holds a StageQueue account and runs shows through it (called a "tenant" inside the Service). A Customer is the party to these Terms who pays for a plan.
- Staff: people a Customer invites into its account, such as admins and show hosts.
- Participants: performers who sign up for a show and audience members who view a show's pages or send messages.
- Customer Content: everything a Customer or its Staff puts into the Service: shows, songbooks, settings, logos and messages.
- Participant Content: what Participants submit: names, emails, song choices, notes, sheet music and messages.
A Customer decides how its shows run and what happens to its Participants' information. We provide the tools.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 to create a Customer account or act as Staff.
- Participants must be at least 13. A Participant under 18 needs a parent's or guardian's permission. The Service is not directed to children under 13.
- We sign you in with one-time links sent to your email. Keep your email account secure; anyone who controls it can sign in as you. Tell us right away at hello@stagequeue.app if you think your account has been misused.
- Customers are responsible for their Staff's activity and for removing access when someone leaves.
- Give us accurate information and keep it current.
3. Plans, trials and billing
This section applies when paid plans are available.
- Plans. Each plan's features, limits and price are shown on our pricing page or at checkout. Prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes, which we add at checkout.
- Trials. Where we offer a trial, we collect a payment method at sign-up. Your plan starts charging on the date shown at checkout unless you cancel before then. We remind you before a trial converts.
- Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year, as you chose, at the then-current price, until you cancel. For annual plans we send a reminder before renewal.
- Cancelling. You can cancel online at any time from your account's billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
- Refunds. Fees are not refundable for part-used periods, except where the law requires a refund.
- Price changes. We give at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change affects you. The new price applies from your next renewal; you can cancel before it does.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, you have a 7-day grace period to fix it. After that we may suspend the account: shows can't go live and new shows can't be created, but audience pages keep working and your data is kept. If a payment is disputed with your bank, we may suspend the account while the dispute is open.
- Plan limits. If you move to a plan with lower limits, items over the new limit are kept but locked until you upgrade or reduce them.
- Complimentary access. We may offer free-of-charge or discounted access, for example to early Customers. We will give at least 30 days' notice before ending it, and nothing is charged unless you choose a paid plan.
- Payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
4. Your content
- You own it. Customers own Customer Content. Participants own their Participant Content.
- What you let us do with it. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, transmit and display your content only as needed to provide, secure and improve the Service. For Participant Content this includes passing it to the Customer running the show and showing it where the show displays it.
- What shows publicly. A show's running order can appear on public sign-up and live pages and on screens in the venue. That can include a performer's name and song. Customers control which details are shown.
- Customers' responsibilities. Customers are responsible for their shows, for telling Participants how their information will be used, for having a lawful basis to collect it, and for what their displays show in a public venue.
- Participants' responsibilities. Submit only content you have the right to share, and don't submit other people's personal information without permission.
5. Sheet music and copyright
- Sheet music uploaded to the Service is used only to get it to the Customer and the accompanist for the show it was submitted to. We do not publish it, sell it or review it.
- By uploading sheet music you confirm you own it or have the right to share it for that purpose.
- We respect copyright and respond to notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent at copyright@stagequeue.app and 36 West Avenue, Salem, MA 01970, United States, including the information 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) requires. We may remove the content and will tell the person who uploaded it, who may send a counter-notice.
- We close the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, or to harass, threaten, demean or discriminate against anyone, including through audience messages;
- upload malware, or content that is sexually explicit, hateful or infringes someone else's rights;
- send spam, or use contact details from the Service for purposes the person did not agree to;
- get around plan limits, rate limits or security measures, or access another Customer's account or data;
- scrape, overload or disrupt the Service, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows;
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent your connection with a person or organization;
- test the Service's security without our written permission.
Customers may remove Participant Content and messages from their shows. We may remove content or restrict access that breaks these Terms.
7. Other services
The Service links to or works with services we don't control, such as Stripe, Venmo (for tipping links), sheet-music apps and custom domains a Customer connects. Their own terms apply, and we are not responsible for them.
8. Our service and intellectual property
We own the Service, the Website, the StageQueue name and logos, and our software. These Terms give you the right to use the Service while they are in force; they don't transfer any ownership. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
9. Privacy and data processing
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. For Customer Content and Participant Content, we act as the Customer's service provider (a "processor" under UK and EU law) and:
- process it only to provide the Service and on the Customer's instructions given through the Service;
- keep it confidential and limit access to people who need it;
- protect it with reasonable technical and organizational measures, including a separate database for each Customer;
- use only the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy, and give notice before adding new ones;
- help the Customer respond to requests from Participants;
- tell the Customer without undue delay after becoming aware of a security breach affecting its data;
- delete it when the Customer's account is closed, as described in section 12.
10. Support access
To help you or keep the Service secure, our support staff may need to view your account as you see it. Each such session is recorded in your account's activity log, lasts no more than 30 minutes, and can't change your plan or billing. We access your account only to provide support you asked for, to investigate a security or abuse issue, or where the law requires it.
11. Changes to the Service
We are always improving StageQueue, so features may change. We won't remove a core feature of a paid plan during a billing period without notice. Features labelled as early, preview or coming are provided as they are and may change or end. We don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted, and we may pause it for maintenance.
12. Ending this agreement
- You can stop using the Service, or close your account, at any time.
- We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, don't pay, or put the Service, other users or us at risk. Where reasonable we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
- When a Customer account is closed, its data is kept for 14 days in case the closure was a mistake, then permanently deleted. Copies in backups are overwritten within 30 days after that. Before closing, a Customer can ask us for a copy of its data.
- Sections 4.2 (for the time needed to delete content), 5, 8 and 13 to 17 continue after this agreement ends.
13. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE AND WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We don't promise that the Service will meet every need or be free of errors. Live shows depend on networks, devices and venues we don't control, so please keep a backup plan for show night.
14. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS:
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE POSSIBLE.
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ABOUT THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM AND (B) US $100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
15. Indemnity
If you are a Customer, you will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your Customer Content, your shows, your use of Participants' information, or your breach of these Terms or the law. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and let you control its defense, though we may join with our own counsel at our cost.
16. Disputes and governing law
- The laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts govern these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
- Before starting a claim, email us at hello@stagequeue.app and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally.
- If we can't, claims go to the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Either of us may instead bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.
- If you are a consumer, nothing in this section takes away rights you have under the laws of where you live.
17. General
- Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. For material changes, we'll give Customers at least 30 days' notice by email or in the Service. Using the Service after the change takes effect means you accept it. If you don't agree, you may close your account before then.
- Transfer. We may transfer this agreement to an affiliate or to a successor to our business, including a company we form to operate StageQueue. You may not transfer it without our written consent.
- Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any order form or plan terms shown at checkout are the whole agreement between us about the Service.
- Severability and waiver. If part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right now doesn't waive it.
- Events beyond control. Neither of us is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as outages at internet or hosting providers.
- Notices. We send notices to the email on your account. You can send notices to hello@stagequeue.app.
- Relationship. We are independent contractors. Nothing here creates a partnership, employment or agency relationship.
